Scope:	This record group consists of Abstracts of Title for parcels of land that were purchased by The City of Oklahoma City. Some of the projects that resulted from the purchase of these properties include fire, parks, streets, bridges, sewer, water, libraries, alleys, detention hospitals, and airports. In addition, the record group includes a small number of miscellaneous real estate, court, and water trust documents. Records in boxes 1-82 are arranged in an imposed numeric order, though there are significant gaps in the number sequence either because the land was sold by The City, the abstract was rebuilt and superseded by a newer version, or the abstract was not found on file. The dates that have been assigned to boxes 1-82 reflect the most recent date for the first and last abstract in each box. Miscellaneous documents in boxes 82-83 are arranged by date. The dates that have been assigned to these boxes reflect the most recent date that appeared on the document. Abstracts may include a corresponding deed number, City Council memorandum, or other supporting information.
